"So, now that you've graduated, what will you do with all your spare time?"

I'm not certain how or when, but somehow I will be involved in this. This resonates with everything I am and everything I'm currently being taught to do in health informatics.

I have a long history of speaking my truth to reality even when it makes no logical sense, so there it is.

Edit: This announcement falls in the same week of the anniversary I was accepted to graduate school, but before I had any knowledge of my health informatics fellowship. It was only because I tenatively decided on 'medical' as my course of study that I received the fellowship announcement & invitation to apply a few weeks after I was accepted.

I have not cried in a long time, and especially not at work, but I have to run to the bathroom now after the email I just received from my first mentor back in the homeland about my fellowship:

I always thought you were terrific. You still are. Thanks for letting me know.

(My old student job boss, who rocks) retired - just now - and I miss her so much after working with her for 17 years.

All the best,

The first non-friends/family person who truly believed in me.

I can't tell you how much these words mean to me.

I GOT IT!

We would like to inform you that you have been selected for one of the
Health Informatics fellowships. The fellowship includes tuition and
fees, (some money) stipend per semester, and (half the previous amount) for travel to a professional meeting.

OMG the next two years are going to be completely insane.

If I drop off the face of the planet, it probably means I'm in Texas.
