But I'd better learn to say it fast, guess what just showed up in my inbox?

Ms. [livejournal.com profile] twilight33,

Welcome to the UNT School of Library and Information Sciences Master's degree program!

We have received your application from the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies and have admitted you to the School of Library and Information Sciences (SLIS) for the Fall, 2006 semester.

To say I am absolutely stunned is an understatement. I just emailed [livejournal.com profile] northwardbound about how my hunch that I'd hear something back this week was wrong because I know for a fact they only have 1/3 of my recommendation letters!

OMG. Has anyone else ever heard of deciding to apply to a graduate school then actually being admitted 23 days after said decision?

Edit: email from my beloved psychotic prof who has 124 papers to grade this weekend - Accept it today! Do not delay!!!! Congrats!!! Good beer flows.....karma too.

Post-edit: I've already cleared registration advising (my graduate counselor is a Husky!) and am all set. This is all still very surreal.
