Choices
Yesterday, after an insane payday morning for 300+ employees, I had the option of going to the camera store, going to the grocery store, or going to play.
We even had the place all to ourselves for 20 minutes before another group of kids came over to play & the water was warm. It sucks that the next & final opportunity I have to share this with Kieran this year is August 10th (if the weather cooperates), but so goes work scheduling & summertime. He goes to the pool far more often with his daddy, and gets morning playdates with me.
Pictures like these remind me just why we sometimes drive ourselves insane with flex scheduling & not much income; the only thing Kieran knows is that he has fun with mommy & daddy all day. Everything else somehow pales in comparison.
