twilight33Whew. After a 15 hour drive from CA to WA, we got home from our vacation a little before 10 last night. We're already unpacked everything, done 3 loads of laundry & found the house relatively in order.
I have 182 digital pictures to edit, at least 4 photo albums to create for different people, many memories and stories to sort through & put together, and incredibly alarming news to mull over.
It wouldn't be a true family vacation for us without a close brush with death. This one involved three generations of my husband's family in the Mojave Desert, flying road debris, and a punctured gas tank spraying everywhere. Thankfully there were witnesses who waved & screamed at them to pull over and jump out; it didn't explode and nobody was hurt, but the repair expense is phenomenal & the what-ifs are too frightening to say aloud.
More editing, more thinking, more later.
