twilight33My beloved son examined a wedding picture in the living room today, then turned to look at my husband & I sitting around in our dumpy sweats reading the Sunday paper. Normally he says 'Mama! *points at picture* Mama! *points at me*' and the same sequence with Papa, and is happy with that.
Not today. The young bride in her 20s had the distinction of being called 'Little Momma' & the dumpy sweats woman in her 30s was pronounced 'Big Momma', same thing with 'Little Poppa/Big Poppa' with the groom who is still in his 20s almost 5 years later (lucky).
What a way to start the new year. Where's my double-wide to go with my new name?
