Yeah, I'm just a little excited now that LJ has finally decided to stop putting whatever server my account is on in read-only status. I even cut my husband off on the phone when a ticketing screen refresh finally decided to acknowledge it was 10am and let me in so I could race through the preliminaries to land good seats.

I thought that it had been years since we'd been to a concert but that isn't true, there was They Might Be Giants with Kieran last year. This is a much different setting though, and I can't wait.

Even better, there is no fear of the Depeche Mode concert curse. The only two times I've seen them were immediately preceded or followed by the sudden unexpected deaths of my paternal grandparents. Although I haven't seen my father in years, I don't wish to off him next...

I realize that this isn't the sort of concert you had in mind, but have you heard that the Wiggles will be at the Tacoma Dome on April 26th? I think we may try to take our DS. I haven't heard how much the tickets are going to be- let me know if you want me to find more info!

Acck! Seating is already limited- I was unable to find four seats together! Tickets are $15-30 ea, with lots of taxes and fees added on. More info is here.

Ah, so you were already in the loop and didnt let me know, huh? ;) I didnt realize they would be somewhere besides the Tacoma dome, I jsut happened to see the sign last weekend while driving by. Do you know if they will be anywhere elese?

LOL I'm not in the know any more than their website :) Aren't you closer to Portland than Tacoma anyway? There's a Saturday show on the 23rd there! Here's the concert listing page for you. Kieran really wasn't into the TMBG concert that much, so I'm more inclined to just get him the new DVD ;)
