I see dead people

I'm really looking forward to seeing Flight From Death: The Quest for Immortality this week followed by a discussion with one of the producers. I can't think of many other documentaries that combine my love of sociocultural anthropology and cemeteries in one, and the multicultural approach they took in filming it really interests me. I only know the typical Judeo-Christian one, with a few glimpses of different Pacific Northwest tribes that I'm not arrogant enough to say I know.

I like to think that I'm not afraid of death, but we'll see if that's really the case or if I'm in denial.

Another grad student, who has a serious death fetish, asked a bunch of us to go see it with her. And I was thinking about it ... but who knows how tomorrow will shape up? I'm drowning and taking time out for a beer tonight--two nights of leisure activities could kill me (or put me even further behind. eeeeeeeee
