When lit, lift a handset and get dial tone. ~ part of instructions with new phone at work.

Good to know, although I doubt I'll be getting lit here anytime soon no matter how much I'd like to today.

One should never make phone calls when lit. Bad things happen.

I've gotten in trouble more by emailing while lit, written records are so embarrassing.
