It's a match!

Kieran would not stop talking about preschool when my husband put him on the phone, then talking in general (I heard 'fun at preschool!' a lot) while my husband & I were on the phone. The teacher reported he was all smiles and had a great morning, and he was relaxed & eating lunch in the backyard with the other kids when my husband picked him up.

My little baby has grown up. I've finally let go of the working mom guilt that I could never find anyone who could have playdates start earlier than 10:30-11 am and not last through lunch; his social bases are well-covered now.

Yeah!!!

I used to get a lot of guilt trips over putting my child in daycare (and to this day, people will ask, "So what do you do with the baby all day?" which I always thought was a weird thing to ask someone.

But he LOVES it there, has little friends at daycare, and when I pick him up, he yells, "Nora!" and comes running towards me.

So did Kieran do any art/craft projects for you??? :) I know those are always popular at most preschools. You said he goes to a Montessori school - do they offer Spanish or gymnastics or anything like that?

Anyway, yay you!!!

At least he's not going from studying Spanish to studying Italian

I'm so glad he had such a great day. I was thinking about you guys all day. What an exciting feeling as a mother to know all your research, evaulating and soul searching paid off. He's happy and in a wonderful environment.
