Go awaaaaaay
Mar. 8th, 2003 08:43 pmYet another mystery person who was at the door tonight. At least this time they brought some huge truck & parked it in the driveway like normal people do, but that still doesn't change the fact that they annoy us by ringing the doorbell after the baby is asleep.
Our living room looks completely different now, everything has been packed up and the coffee table moved into our bedroom. We'll get an area rug pretty soon so it's gentler on Kieran's head (and butt, although that has plenty of padding) as he learns to pull himself up on the couch. He bonked into furniture so many times today that I'm surprised his head isn't black & blue. No, we're not letting him really injure himself, but we're also not sheltering him from everything so he'll learn not to crawl full-speed into things.
Thing that melts my heart more than anything has before: Kieran's face lighting up with absolute joy, then crawling towards me as fast as he can when I open my arms wide and say 'Come to Mommy!' from across the room.
