Edumuhcation

I'm debating whether it's better to continue on a waitlist for an excellent toddler preschool (co-op nearby, one morning a week which I'd go to with Kieran) or apply for an opening at a so-so one. Part of me is laughing & wondering why I'm taking myself so seriously about just a few hours a week when Kieran won't even remember it, and another part is mumbling something about establishing a good foundation.

Nobody else I know is even considering preschool this early, but I can tell Kieran is starting to get bored with the two of us at home yet we're not about to go take full time jobs to go put him in daycare. I'll probably research what will help challenge him a bit more than his current options of playing with assorted toys or terrorizing the poor cats & see what I can find.

Moot point previously about the preschools, now I'm on the waiting list for both as apparently the website's information about the other one having 17 openings isn't quite true :) If it's meant to work out it will, that's the theme for our life as a family so far and I don't see why the same wouldn't apply to this too.
