Jan. 30th, 2004 12:35 pmAn email from my prof this morning, the feedback he refers to is when he asked us to turn in papers with answers to general questions and finishing with 'on a scale of 1-10, rank your level of confusion regarding the course material'. I put an 8, sneak peeks at a few others around me were the same:
After reading your feedback, I think it makes sense to not have any new reading for Monday, and instead to focus on learning the material we have already covered. So, you do not have to read the assigned text for Monday. It will not be on the exam. We will review for the exam on Monday.
Among the study tips included in this email was We need to create conceptual order from this unruly past, so that we can understand its impact on the present.
Interesting thought. I don't think I need to create any sense of order from my own unruly past though.
