Mar. 30th, 2004 11:44 amKieran has an ear infection, and had to have a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia. I don't envy Ryan having to hold him still for that one. The poor little guy was so sick by the end of the day & into the early morning hours that he didn't even have the energy to sit up, and could only let out a feeble whine to communicate his unhappiness. That broke my heart unlike anything in the past ever has.
He's doing much better today after two doses of antibiotics and constant 4 hour Tylenol dosing to keep his fever down to 99. I am very tempted to call in sick at work since I don't have much to do and would rather take a nap this afternoon so I have a chance at staying awake through my first class of the quarter tonight. Maybe I'll compromise and just go in for a few hours later. I can't see straight, let alone think at this point.
