(no subject)

Absolutely perfect Mother's Day, consisting of pancakes with fresh strawberries & whipped cream, bacon & hot cocoa for breakfast then a long nap. Lunch was a picnic at Bitter Lake, where we were amused at how many dads & kids were there with no moms in sight. 'That'll be me & Kieran next year, right?' Ryan wisely observed.

Kieran has seriously outgrown last year's hat, so I suggested (with all good intentions) that we head to the mall after playing in the park to get him a Mariners hat. They had nada for adjustable youth caps for the M's, so Mommy got her way with her team after all. I think it's a sign :)
