Good times for a change
Mar. 17th, 2005 11:46 amI am beyond excited for & proud of one of my two oldest (as in, we're 14 months apart to the day and known each other since we were in diapers) friends! Today is her birthday, and she found out she's been accepted to grad school at Princeton with tuition paid in full and a partial living stipend. Best birthday present ever!
I have my work cut out for me to throw a bridal shower for one of my best friends, currently living in Wales but home for an extended visit soon. The logistics of coordinating a party two states away with her mother & another friend of hers are somewhat mind-boggling. We're dealing with a guest list of 40+ (thankfully pared down from her mom initially wanting to use the same list as the wedding, aie!), the addresses promised 3 days ago still haven't been put together, and the party is less than a month away.
Definitely a test of patience considering what a long range planner I am....
