May. 1st, 2006 12:21 pmI've been battling this old beast at work for quite some time, but constantly running out of virtual memory since I've been back from vacation finally inspired me to get someone at the help desk to put it out of its misery.
What type of POS is it?
One that's only got 128 MB of RAM on W2K. Yes, total RAM. It's a good thing my job is approaching 100% online systems work or this thing probably would have blown up.
The tech wouldn't believe me until he remote accessed it, and I could hear the shock in his silence after he clicked on the properties. Nothing ever moves fast around here but hopefully that will prod someone into action.
