Mmm, baby food!

twilight33This afternoon has been all about throwing various vegetables in the blender to puree for Kieran. I accidentally made too many sweet potatoes for the ice cube trays I had left (explanatory note: easiest way to make baby food is to puree a batch of something, pour it into ice cube trays, freeze, pop them out into ziplocs to store in the freezer and voila. Squashsicles!), so I poured it into a coffee mug & tasted. Not too bad, but then I went a step further and put some marshmallows on top, nuked it a minute, then stirred the results together.
May sound disgusting but omg it was so good. I was raised without knowing what sweet potatoes or yams baked with marshmallows on top was, and while I had that for Christmas I think I like my version better. I may even purposely get too many sweet potatoes next time and make up a batch all for myself.
