Mar. 21st, 2003 04:10 pmThis week I have had fortune smile on me big time. It started off small, then grew in exponential leaps. Here's how it worked-
Saturday - paid 50 cents for a dozen donuts (regularly $4.99 I think) included in grocery shopping, cashier error I didn't notice until I got home.
Yesterday - paid $33 for $65 worth of baby things at Toys R Us, another cashier error I didn't notice until I got home since I was using store coupons.
Today - approved to get a 5.125% 15-year refi instead of current 6.25% 30-year mortgage. Savings - well over $100K worth of interest payments.
We have no plans to sell for many years, our house & property location have just about everything we want and the amount of equity we already have is staggering. I was in the same house from conception until I left for the dorms at college, the same may very easily be true for Kieran.
Life is good!
