Kieran's officially a cine-manga fan, to the extent that this week he's read Finding Nemo several times a day but does not want to watch the movie anymore because 'it's scary'. Amazon's 4-for-3 sale is timely. I can already foresee the 'he's sneaking in manga!' conversations with teachers at school and he's not even there yet, although maybe if we have a great library at home that won't be an issue. Hmm...

Today we had a number of philosophical questions from him at 7am over breakfast, in order:

1. What is love?
2. What is God?
3. What is dog?

We're working on the concept of there being more than 1 right answer because everyone can interpret these things differently. I just wish the philosopher would pop up after I've had some coffee...

2. An animal that barks.
3. A mammal that can be big or small, furry, and sometimes smelly.

We had an animal corollary on how twilight is the sky just before sunset, but Twilight is the name of the purple cat.
