I booked airfare for the 3 of us and my mom for graduation 10 days ago (wishful thinking combined with realism) because I noticed the price was starting to creep up along with limited availability due to the holiday season.

I just received notification that the price plummeted.

By how much?

Enough that I'm about to call for my $450 electronic travel voucher good for 1 year.

Hellooooo Disneyland airfare for the 3 of us next year. I am ecstatic.

So you're gonna go even if you aren't sure you'll be hooded?

You will probably be named to Beta Phi Mu. Not sure about December graduation, but for May the initiation ceremony for that was the evening before graduation. Just FYI.

Yep, I'm making faculty connection arrangements even if hooding isn't part of the ceremony. I've never been able to play tourist there either, so we're having fun for a few days beforehand. I want Texas and graduation to be real for Kieran instead of something on the computer :)

Heh, I'm not counting on Beta Phi Mu with all the ruckus that seems to cause when the lists come out but we will be there beforehand with a babysitter just in case, thanks :)
