For those not in seattle, here was part one of the fun & excitement today.
Part two deserves its own post later, truly an unexpected once-in-a-lifetime moment I am going to document well and make sure my grandkids know about it.
Well, my son is probably enjoying the cold weather - his college in Florida is off this week and his dad flew him back to Seattle (very south Edmonds right off Aurora, to be more specific).
Meanwhile, it's very pleasant here southwest of the DFW Metroplex - lows in the upper 50s, highs in the 80s, and sunny. SOOOO nice!
So *that's* what it was! luchog and I were in Northgate knocking off a few errands and came out to find what appeared to be snow around the edges of the lot. Didn't think it was anywhere near cold enough, so I was fairly puzzled. Not puzzled enough to clamber back out of the van to poke at it though.
