twilight33It was a long & stinky evening, but I think we're past all the shit now. Pedialyte apparently does work wonders.
On my way in to the office from the parking lot, I ran into one of my former neighbors in Sacramento. This happens every day since he's the CIO here, but it's rare that I get to see his wife. She loved seeing the recent pictures of Kieran, and starting in June (when everyone's out of school, she works there) we'll get together once in a while.
It feels so weird to be socializing with someone I used to babysit for, but then again the look of shock on Tom's face when I told him I'm 30 leads me to believe it's probably just as weird for them to realize we're all growing older. The sweetest pudgy toddler boy I knew has turned into a 15-year-old hellion taller than his dad & made a trip to the tulips in Skagit this spring a nightmare for his family by complaining the entire time, then lost the car keys in the fields. Next year, they're leaving him home.
Ah adolescence. I think I'll stock up on even more baby cuddles for my memory banks, I can only imagine what Kieran will come up with in the future for us!
