twilight33My jaw just about fell through the floor a moment ago when the refi guy called to tell us our house appraised for about $27K more than I thought it was worth. This is with the yard looking like crap & the carpeting downstairs slowly being destroyed by a baby and two cats too. In 4 years it's worth $78K more than we paid, and we have invested exactly $0 in improvements besides basic maintenance.
You'd never know we were in a horrible local & national economy with those figures. Screw the stock market! Speaking of the economy, refi rates fell even more and he relocked it from a 5% to a 4.75% and closing should be soon.
