Nothing of substance

twilight33Kieran's first day of preschool went well, looking forward to seeing how a group of 20 toddlers & 20 parents holds up for the full two hours next week though. There was the usual 20 minutes of being really cautious & sticking close to me around new people/surroundings, but by the end he was running around laughing & clapping his hands so that's a good sign. He's come such a long way from the Freeze & Stare approach he had toward new people when he was really little.
We hacked down the second overgrown hedge plant & pruned the one in between the two down to a sparse 7 feet. I haven't bothered counting to see how many plants we have to go because that would be too depressing. I can't wait until the year when it's actually a manageable beast, seems like the impossible dream for now.
Work is eh. I confirmed that I will move to a real office (A door!! Walls that go from floor to ceiling that I can hang Real Pictures on!!) in early October, which should greatly improve my mental health as far as things here go.
That's about it.
