So far there isn't even a drop of moisture inside our basement, but I'm keeping the barricade up & door taped until the snow completely melts away and the forecasted rain deluge passes. We don't know exactly where the drain in front of the basement door goes, but if it's part of the roadway drainage system it's probably running near capacity now & I had a nightmare last night about water backing up out of it! We have a bunch of these mystery outdoor drains, the gutter downspouts are plugged into them as well.

I did get called into work yesterday after all, the department I'm employed by was mostly there but the one I actually work for had a whopping 2 people (out of 170something). At least I got a lot done with all the quiet...
