Kiss off, the owner said it's ok
All parents know The Look. The Look you get from snooty people when you dare to walk into a restaurant with a small child, even if said child is perfectly well behaved and it's not an upscale intimate dining establishment (we do have some tact after all).
I've been having a nightmare of a time finding a place that balances the lifestyle my aunt from LA is accustomed to (she is LA for the most part) with the fact that we have a toddler in order to go out to a good seafood brunch on the waterfront next month.
Then, she solved the problem by meeting Tom Douglas (owner of the Dahlia Lounge) over the weekend at some big l33t event in Yosemite. He said going to his other restaurant (Etta's) would be great for Sunday brunch with a kid.
So there you have it. My aunt rules, and if anyone there gives us The Look I could care less since I highly doubt they have connections with the owner.
