twilight33While we were on vacation, I wasn't paying attention one morning and put my contacts in the wrong eyes. It took me a few hours but I realized & fixed it with no harm done.
I did the same thing about 12 hours ago today, have had a headache to varying degrees, and only now realized that my left eye is overcorrected & right eye is undercorrected after massive photo editing & spreadsheet work. Duuuuuuh....
Today, after 6.5 years, I officially have a new supervisor & department. My former supervisor initially took the news well & seemed enthusiastic before I left on vacation, but has been a complete bitch to me & my husband since we got back. This is not surprising seeing how she reacted to another good employee getting out from under her claws a few years ago, but nothing has changed with his job & this is not high school.
Time to go make myself a new lanyard for my ID badge; my old one is imprinted with the name of the department I no longer work for. YAY!
