I'm still alive and there's nothing I want to do

There's a foreshadow to something we're working on that tends to creep out most people in our generation, but we've found such a fantastic deal in a beautiful place that we can't pass it up. More on that when it's finalized & you'll know just how insane of a long-range planner I am.

Tonight's co-op preschool orientation went really well, there was a lot of turnover during the summer but the group that's there felt like a nice fit. Tomorrow is Kieran's first day back, last year the toddler preschool was only one day a week & I was there the whole time. This year it's two days a week, I work for one day & have the other one to.... SCRAPBOOK! I haven't touched any of my projects with a summer of gardening while chasing Kieran around the yard, and I'm making myself use this valuable toddler-free time to not fart around doing stuff I can do when he's home.

I'm so excited about this that I can hardly stand it.

Personally, burial creeps me out big time. If you could do it in advance, I'd happily take care of cremation expenses, but my boss, who used to do accounting for a cemetary, has told me too many really disturbing stories to ever consider being planted.

Part of the wonderful world of compromise in a marriage, we each have different views on the whole matter but found a solution we're both happy with.

I highly recommend PMA as an information resource. Making all the decisions & filling out paperwork inaccurately for my grandma while in unexpected grieving made me vow to never put my family in that position for me.
