.. I no longer have to worry about who will take care of Kieran & our estate because it's all in legal writing in a living trust we signed this morning. *huge sigh of relief*
That was the primary concern, although we had a whole bunch of secondary ones that were felled in one swoop with an all-encompassing estate plan that included forms I'd never heard of before despite settling an estate myself. Things are in place to make sure the two estate planning mistakes I've seen with my relatives so far will not happen with ours, and if anyone tries to challenge what we've established they will get nothing at all. Works for me!
Now I can continue with my general plan to live happily & healthily then drop dead out of nowhere when I'm 80 or so with no worries about the aftermath.

Date: 2004-11-09 05:08 pm (UTC)We don't have a will yet and even if I did...it wouldn't put my mind at ease. There's no one I'd feel comfortable leaving Jack with.
For now...my husband and I will be taking seperate cars...on those rare days we go out alone together.
