Never doubt the power of one voice
Dec. 3rd, 2004 07:48 pmRegarding social activism on Wednesday, a newspaper has contacted me to confirm my identity to publish my letter to the editor and I received a well-written personal response from the director of the Tribal Liaison Office at WSDOT.
This is the first time I have received personal feedback instead of standard form letters regarding any issue I've written about. I'm thinking about what to write back to the director to thank her for responding to me and inquire more about their side of the issue. My rusty journalism background is intact enough for me to identify the bias against them, and I want to know details in a polite & respectful dialog.
But now, it's bath time for a wild Kieran!
