twilight33 | So close and yet so far

My prof is really understanding & asked me to turn in tonight what I wrote up til Tuesday for my paper so she can give me a grade & adjust it later. It needs at least 3 hours of work to finish & I can't handle that much typing after work, which pisses me off. My husband saw the damage for the first time this morning and said I was lucky I didn't slice the tip of my finger right off from how it looks. I have to agree, I feel nauseous each time I have to change the bandage and don't see how it can possibly be healed enough for them to yank the stitches out next week.

Truth be told, I think part of my anger is past guilt resurfacing from when I slacked off at the last minute & ended up with the incompletes that cost me my degree the first time. Logically I know I'm in a different place & situation than then, but the end result is still the same for now...
