Yay weekend!
May. 10th, 2003 04:11 pmLizzie (toddler mentioned in previous entry) is doing phenomenally well in her recovery so far, although she still has a long road ahead... she's off to the best start possible.
We have been extremely productive around here, got everything reserved & planned for our first family vacation to Victoria next month. I can't wait, it's been over two years since we've been there when we used to go at least 3 times a year! What really surprised me was that I found a B&B that not only is close to the Harbour & reasonably priced with huge breakfasts, but they're also kid friendly when most don't allow children under 10-12. Can't wait to experience that, the innkeeper was really nice to chat with on the phone.
I *heart* my new Swiffer WetJet, makes life as far as cleaning the kitchen, bathroom & hardwood floors a much less arduous ordeal. Grocery shopping (something I loathe doing) is complete for another week, and Kieran loved hanging out in the backyard while we did some yardwork. We'll go for a walk once he wakes up from his nap, if we don't turn into vegetative slugs in the meantime.
