Distracted

Most of my thoughts today are in Milwaukee. My friend's toddler-aged niece just got out of desperately needed heart transplant surgery and is doing ok so far.

While I am thrilled she gets another chance at life, I'm very sorrowful for the donor family who lost their baby just days before Mother's Day. I'm so proud of them for making the decision to help others have life even as their child's ended though. God willing, I'll never have to face that type of decision, but if I do I hope I'm as strong as they are.
