Few things seem more appropriate to me than this Indigo Girls song. 10 years ago today I did lose something precious. The mixture of sorrow, guilt that I considered options I'd still fight for the right for others to have, and relief that I didn't have to choose them is sometimes still too much to bear even after all these years.

I'm so sorry, little angel. It wasn't your time, and definitely wasn't mine, but I'll never forget about you. Keep an eye over Kieran, ok?
