A bun.. bund... bundt cake?
May. 14th, 2003 02:34 pmI admit defeat. I couldn't even find a way to salvage the remains by sticking a plant in the hole.
I got a really cool Bundt pan last year that makes the cake in a layered star shape (hard to explain), but I'm 0-3 in being able to have the cake come out of it in one piece. It makes a good jello mold, but that's about it.
I wrecked Ryan's birthday cake today with it after being certain I'd succeed due to a failsafe pan greasing technique I hadn't done with the other two cakes. Luckily he doesn't seem to mind much as long as the key ingredients of cake & frosting are there. He fits in well with my mom's family :)
We'll see how I pull off making a 3D character cake for Kieran's birthday, a trial run is scheduled for the end of the month to make up for this disaster!
