Chilling

Not just the weather outside, but happenstance led to Kieran & I watching the live coverage earlier this morning of Gary Ridgway pleading guilty 48 times to aggravated first degree murder. Pardon me, Gary Leon Ridgway, since we're supposed to refer to serial killers by full name for some reason. As hard as it is to grasp the reality that one man admitted killing 48 other people one by one over decades, I still have an awful gut feeling there are more victims out there.

I told Kieran that we were watching someone being held accountable for being very, very bad & not just naughty as in throwing a tantrum over not wanting to take a nap. I didn't know what else to say, and wonder how I can explain something so horrible to him when I myself don't understand how it's possible.
