Nothing like discovering that the fuel injection and/or starter are shot on your car and you will not go anywhere just before you have an appointment (for Kieran's speech, or rather lack of it) you've had to wait almost two months for. Strangely enough, that was rescheduled for the same time next week instead of in April... go figure.
Oh well. At least it happened in the driveway instead of on I5 with Kieran in the car, and we get free towing at some point this afternoon & it won't disrupt our work schedules since nobody has to go with the tow truck to the shop to sign paperwork. We do have Ryan's car as backup, although he noticed it was having trouble starting up this morning too (noooooooooo). Completely sucks for $$ timing with spring quarter tuition plus car and homeowner's insurance renewals all due next month though.
