twilight33Par for course, I dare to take Friday off work & fatalities happen.
This time it was something on my hard drive. Oh, how thrilled I'm not.
There's no sign of the ticket being closed yet, if that's still the case tomorrow morning I'm bringing in my laptop. It was brutal to try and look busy sans computer for an entire day, but since safe mode was functional I have fingers tightly crossed that my data is recovered.
The borderline 90s weather plus the breeze (if I close my eyes & imagine, it's the Delta) is making me downright homesick. I started craving my friend's backyard swimming pool & screwdrivers around 2 this afternoon! I'm a little surprised that the upstairs temp is only up 8 degrees from the 71 we got it to this morning, but our finished basement is substantially cooler & we are very happy campers down here.
