I'm curious to know what Materazzi said & what Zidane can possibly conjure up in his defense, but the end result is there are no excuses. You do not let your team down like that in the 2nd f'ing overtime at the f'ing World Cup final. What the hell happened to sang froid?
Since Materazzi is Italian and Zidane is French/Algerian. Save for a smattering of Italian that Zidane might have picked up when playing for Italy, I find myself curious to know, not only what was said, but in what language.
is that it was something along the lines of f'ing Maghreb, racist slurs are rather universally understood. I didn't know he'd snapped several times before until now though, still not seeing anything on LeMonde or RFI besides the farewell tributes which ring so hollow now.
