So in love with you

I think part of the reason the World Cup game pissed me off so much was that it shattered the beautiful place I was in.
We had an awesome morning, starting off with fresh biscuits topped with Sequim strawberries & whipped cream. From there we went to the park to play several hours of soccer and running around wild in general... and something dawned on me.

This twilight garden
turns into a world
where dreams are real
When your child is born, there is a powerful and instantaneous unconditional love that emanates from you to envelop that sweet little funny looking newborn who is squawking back at you.
With everyone else, love can become unconditional, but it's something that must grow to become as such.
I am constantly in awe of what a wonderful father my husband is. Something in this playful moment escalated my love for him to a stratospheric level I have no words for, and I didn't want to write about it on the same day something so crappy happened.
