It's been a long and crappy day.


This is not the regular Ghirardelli syrup Zoka's and Tully's uses, this is SERIOUS dark chocolate. I almost squealed when I saw the free samples they included, all (with shipping) for less than what Amazon wants for the regular syrup alone sans pump. I am in absolute heaven from just hot chocolate, and decided that part of this semester's stipend check will go to a decent small home espresso machine. The thought of a dark chocolate mocha makes me cry.

I'm out of the appropriate alcohol and need to get some soon to whip up my old orgasmic hot cocoa recipe. Any takers?

You haven't experienced my orgasmic hot chocolate recipe, it was a quirk I discovered in my apartment kitchen shortly after I moved up here. 'Oh God, yes' is most appropriate. I'll let you know when I've got it down again (it's always been freehand and this syrup is strong stuff).

DARK chocolate. It's new (Ghirardelli Barista's Choice) and VERY strong stuff so it may be a while before it's widely available at stands since it's not very sweet.
