It's amusing to me how often my old high school angst theme songs come to mind when I'm working on grad school deadlines.
It's entirely too nice of a day outside to be stuck inside cursing at 23 pages of technical writing that I have to submit by 8 tonight for peer review. I even have a fever blister from the stress of falling so far behind last week due to work going ballistic & both our schedules being upturned. I haven't had one of these pop up since the insanity of a Texas trip then a conference over two consecutive weekends back in October.
Oh wait, I keep forgetting about the 2 day conference starting Thursday afternoon. Agh! The final draft of the preliminary behemoth I'm cursing at now is due next Monday, but there's some project for another class I haven't even looked at due on Saturday.
More Diet Pepsi...

Date: 2007-03-26 11:58 pm (UTC)Boy, I know where you're coming from. Literally. I almost posted yesterday about how overwhelmed I am with school deadlines blowing right past me (and my textbooks getting buried under junk mail every semester whenever my husband goes on a cleaning spree), work going crazy and living in an impossibly messy house. It's tough!
Hang in there!!
