Too much to explain, let me sum up

twilight33Literally away from the house for just 24 hours for what is likely to be our only vacation this summer with an enormous debt of gratitude to my mom. She not only paid for our room, she kept Kieran in hers overnight.. the first time we haven't been on call at night in 15 months.
Snoqualmie Falls
Yes, that's the top of Snoqualmie Falls from our room at Salish Lodge.
There are only two window seats in the casual dining room upstairs. Guess who strolled in with no reservation, no name on a list, nada and got one of them immediately?
I took tons of pictures because of the underwhelming lack of vacation, overwhelming amount of stress the summer holds and to give my mom lots of reprint options. We learned the falls speak in many ways and I captured just a few of their moods.
