5 years old today!

It's beginning to dawn on me that he's never going to slow down, although I keep hoping.
5 years ago I worked up a sweat in labor. This morning I did again when I accidentially set my DDR dance mat to the hardest difficulty level for a song & Kieran had quite a laugh at me as I tried to keep up (and failed miserably).
I find myself strangely unaffected by this birthday. Maybe it's because he's already the size of a first grader?

Lovely picture - I have forgotten what those blue flowers are? I remember I used to think of them as Washington's version of bluebonnets. :)

Date: 2007-06-26 04:56 am (UTC)Kieran reminds me of my sister's kid, Nick. Bright as hell, does *not* fit into the molds, especially at school, and is taller than his mom (and about to top his dad as well) as he enters 7th grade.
