Off with their heads!
May. 27th, 2003 09:15 amYesterday's lobotomy on the head of the teddy bear cake & sharing the remains with
northwardbound & her husband went well, and Kieran is no longer afraid of the small bit that's left. Earlier in the day we had the least angsty person of the lot over with her boyfriend for a wannabe BBQ.
We were all set to fire up the grill, until we discovered a disgusting infestation of mold covering it. We've had this grill for 4 years and never had a problem like this before so we're not too sure what happened, but it will not be put to use until a bottle of Clorox has been dumped over it. Yeck, yeck, yeck. Panfrying was just not the same, but at least there was food and lots of it.
Speaking of chopping off heads, today is the deadline for the eBay seller to escape my full wrath of a chargeback & going from a fraud notification to opening a fraud alert & protection claim. I'm still wavering on leaving negative feedback because while I want to warn other potential buyers that this seller is fraudulent, I don't want a retaliatory negative on my record as I'm just about to start selling some stuff. Decisions, decisions...
