WEEEEEKEND!
Last night's orientation to the preschool was surprisingly good. There is such a wide variety of activities & equipment there to play with that we'll never encounter in a park or at home, and the curriculum (if one could call it that) sounds like so much fun. I always approve of dinosaurs. Even though the meeting was only 2 hours, I can tell I'm going to click better with this group of parents than I have in almost a year of being in another group. The other group has nice people, but they're too Marin when I'm more Sonoma than I care to admit. The fact that I won't be able to meet at the old group's new time is not a loss to me, which is sad. I'll probably still see some of them around, but the connection just isn't there anymore.
I ended up as the class photographer, since everyone has a role in a co-op. Toward the end of the school year I even get to put together a little 'yearbook', which cracks me up. Now, to figure out how to get focused pictures of 20 toddlers running around...
