I'm excited about class for winter quarter, it'll be my first COMS class at UW & timely given world events: International Media Images. My guess is it analyzes American media portrayals of others, but it's been fascinating to watch French news for their take on things especially where Americans are concerned.
Still not too sure about my current ANTH class, we get our first paper back tomorrow (finally). I get the impression most of us didn't do well and/or failed to meet his expectations on its structure since we were informed we could 'rewrite parts of it in order to get the grade you want'. Ugh. Our next paper is due next Thursday, the same day I give a class presentation, and I keep rereading the assignment but can't come up with ideas for it yet. This format is not one I can pull out of my ass at the last minute so I'm a bit worried.
