And I find it kind of funny...
Feb. 5th, 2004 11:30 amAnyone else had that Tears For Fears cover stuck in their heads lately?
Today we finally had Kieran's first playdate. I don't count preschool, meetings at church or our mom's group meetings (even the one at our house) because those are all structured group situations. Just two moms, two toddler boys and a pretty good house layout for a constant game of chase led to several hours of chaos... and so much fun. The boys were so active that we weren't even able to safely drink a cup of coffee until snack time for them an hour later.
It's quite refreshing to not feel completely worn out by the time I put Kieran down for a nap at 11, then figure out how to have enough energy for 5 straight hours of work. I wasn't the one having to chase Kieran around all morning... Isak did a great job of that. Why on earth did it take me so long to have someone over? I have no idea but this definitely needs to happen more often!
