I keep forgetting Mother's Day applies to me. You would think I'd have a clue with almost two years of constantly being referred to as 'Mommy', but sometimes I'm a little slow on these things.

Crafts today were these cool little foam picture frames to put in bags for Mom, to the side is a flowerpot Kieran painted a few weeks ago & planted the week afterward. I love preschool; nice crafts come home, mess is made there! Today was also total chaos because a professional photographer came to take pics of the kids individually and a group shot, and I'm the photography coordinator for the preschool. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to get 18 around-2 year olds in 1 spot at the same time? How can anyone be a children's photographer for a full time job without going completely insane?

I am so sad that our last class for the school year is the week before Memorial Day, but orientation for the new preschool is later this week & that starts up in September. We definitely have a fun summer ahead too as I'm slowly reclaiming our beautiful rock garden & flower beds from the weeds and won't be embarrassed to have other kids come over for playdates.
