Junk food jackpot

I rarely get candy bars here at work, but today the BigKat was calling me and I had a buck to spare by getting free parking from Group Death this morning (yay).

I ended up with a gratis candy bar and making 30 cents. I double checked to make sure I hadn't stuck a $2 bill in by mistake but I hadn't.

I will always honor my chocolate cravings from now on if they mean I end up getting the goods and profiting as a result.

Lots of free stuff seems to be going around this week-I got a free lunch yesterday because the restaurant was slow, and today I got a bonus lunch because they made the wrong pasta (that made one of my coworkers happy). I'm digging the good luck myself and you should as well :)

I had more hit today too, although it comes with a twinge of 'should I have done something?'. I got groceries & kitchen stuff at Fred Meyer, and I saw the checker scan each item.

When I got home, I noticed one of the items didn't actually show on the receipt. It was only a $6 storage jar, but the last thing I wanted to do was pack Kieran up in the car again and haul ourselves to Shoreline!

I figure if you saw the checker scan each one, you can safely chalk it up to a computer malfunction and have no worries :) Yay for good luck!
